A Style for Every Student
We are proud of the diversity of dancing styles that we cover at our studio. Feel free to read through each of them below to see what style speaks to you as well as our class schedule for this year.
Dance Styles
The self-discipline learned in ballet class can help your child succeed in all undertakings. The basis of ballet can provide a dancer with the foundation of being a versatile dancer.
Jazz is a freer, more rhythmic style, less emotionally restricted, and classical than ballet. It draws from all the other forms of dance techniques, blending them in clean rhythmic movement.
The quickest and surest way of developing coordination and rhythmic ability. Children trained in tap excel in math and social activities with the ability to think fast and memorize quickly.
The art form that uses the body as a means of communication through movement. Contemporary is based on ballet and jazz styles that expand through emotions and expressions.
Tap, Jazz, and Tumbling for ages 3-5. A style taught to introduce young children to all types of dance, enabling them to choose which course to pursue as they become strong dancers.
Hip Hop is a very physical form of jazz modernized through trend dances including pop- lock, heavily utilized in music videos and visual advertising. It is easily today’s hottest dance style.
